Connect Zapier and an event in a conversation — a lead qualified, a hand-off, a booking — starts a Zap in any of the thousands of apps Zapier reaches; a Zap can also send your mate something to say.

Create an API key in your Console for Zapier.
In Zapier, add the platform and paste the key.
Pick the trigger and the action and turn the Zap on.
