Telegram in action

A customer writes on Telegram, your mate answers from your own content, and your team steps in from the Inbox when it matters.

Your customer → Telegram → your mate → Your Inbox and teamDiagram: a customer sends a message on Telegram; your mate answers; when needed the conversation is handed to your Inbox and team.

What you get

  • Grounded answers in the thread

Your mate answers from your own pages, documents and connected tools, and says so when a question is outside them.

  • Formatted the way the app shows it

Bold plan names, bullet lists and link buttons arrive as the chat app's own formatting, never as raw symbols.

  • Replies from your Inbox

Your team answers from the Console Inbox and the reply goes back on the same channel, in the same thread.

Set it up in the Console

  1. Open the Console, go to Connections and choose Telegram.

  2. Fill in Bot username (optional) · Bot token · Webhook secret token, exactly as the screen labels them.

  3. Save — the Console checks the values against the provider before it stores anything.

  4. Publish your workspace. From the next message on, your mate answers there.

Telegram Business — your own account

With Telegram Business, your mate replies to people who write to your personal Telegram account, in your name. You keep using Telegram the way you do today.

See it on ours first: @BusymateAI is our own business account on Telegram, and your mate replies there for us.

  • Step in whenever you like

Reply in a chat yourself and your mate goes quiet there: 30 minutes by default, a window you can change in the Console.

  • Pause or resume from the Console

Turn the answers off for the whole account, or let a paused chat continue before its window ends.

  • These chats land in your Inbox

Each one shows the customer's name and @username, and a reply you type there is sent from your account.

Telegram Premium is not required. Only private chats get answers, after you allow the bot to manage messages.

Connect your account

  1. In Telegram, open Settings › Chat Automation.

  2. Add your own bot or ours, and allow it to manage messages. Your own bot needs Secretary Mode (formerly Business Mode) turned on in BotFather.

  3. Using ours? Create a one-time code under Telegram Business in the Console and send it to that bot.

  4. Watch the Console: the connection shows as live the moment Telegram confirms it.

Questions

Your bot can recognise signed-in customers. With handoff enabled, requests for a person reach your Inbox; on Business you can also reply directly from Telegram.
No platform fee: Busymate AI bills per workspace plan, not per channel. The channel's own provider may charge for its numbers, messages or approvals.
It says when it is unsure. If handoff is enabled for your workspace and channel, it can ask your team to take over in the Inbox. It confirms when your team has been asked to help.
